Veganism is becoming more and more popular, and even people who are not fully committed to the idea can try and enjoy vegan food. Run by Ronnishia Johnson and Rheema Calloway, these two geniuses have managed to create a well-loved food brand that is drawing customers from all across San Francisco.
The Vegan Hood has become not just a popular local business, but a symbol of what can be done when the mind is focused. The two women decided to build their dream business and, in 2017, they started to make a telling change. Growing up and finding it tough to find quality and nutritious meals that were also vegan-friendly, both ladies decided it was time to do something about this and build their little mini-food empire.
So far, the results have been astounding. Having been closest friends with one another since they were in the 9th Grade together, both have managed to create a very impressive addition to the San Francisco food scene. As we said, they are regularly frequented by people who have never even tried vegan food before.
Working to help improve understanding of vegan food in the community and also offering stylish food at great prices, these ladies have helped to open the eyes of many people to the benefits of going vegan. As San Francisco continues to consume quality foods by the load, it might just become one of the main vegan food focal points in the whole city!
